Milestones Area Agency on Aging’s home-delivered meals program (similar to Meals on Wheels) provides nutritious meals to older Iowans. The Milestones program particularly serves those in greatest economic and social need, who are homebound by reason of illness or incapacitating disability, and those who are otherwise isolated. All of Milestones’ meals are delicious and nutritious, meeting 1/3 of the dietary guidelines for older adults. Each month's menus are approved by the Iowa state dietician. Home delivered meals are available to individuals ages 60+ (and their spouse of any age) and reside where these meals are offered. Contact us for eligibility requirements.
